Venom 3 is finally here, and The Last Dance is one emotional send-off for Eddie Brock and his symbiote pal.
Below, we’ve got everything you need to know about theSony-verse Marvel movie, with details on the plot (sospoilers abound), as well as the lowdown on the cast, trailer, and more. We’ve also got some exclusive insight from director Kelly Marcel and stars Juno Temple and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
The new film, which is officially titled Venom: The Last Dance, sees Eddie and Venom teaming up to take on an extraterrestrial threat from the symbiote’s home, and it’s action-packed – while still featuring all the banter and shenanigans that we know and love from this duo.

Thefinal Venom 3 trailercame out on September 12, 2024, and gave us tons of insights into the new movie’s story. In the teaser, we see a bunch of symbiotes heading to Earth as Venom prepares for the ultimate showdown against a mysterious figure he calls his “creator.”

The teaser is also packed with explosives, action, and, of course, some comedy from the main duo. So, be sure to check it out for yourself in the video above.

The Venom 3 plot sees Eddie and Venom on the run from both earthly forces and Knull’s army of symbiote-eating monsters. That’s because, together, Eddie and Venom form the key to Knull’s release from his prison – a tracking signal activates if Venom fully takes over Eddie, so the duo are forced to limit their powers.
The multiverse quandary is resolved pretty quickly when Eddie and Venom are yanked back to the Sony-verse without ceremony, meeting their own version of the bartender from theSpider-Man: No Way Home post-credits scene. Later, military man Rex Strickland arrives and takes a leftover sample of Venom.
Later, in theVenom 3 post-credits scenes, we see Knull pledging to wreak havoc, as well as a tease that the Venom sample survived – meaning the symbiote could reunite with Eddie again.

The Venom 3 reviews have been pretty negative, giving the movie a low score onRotten Tomatoes. Our ownVenom 3 reviewis just 2 stars, and the verdict reads: “Occupies a space far more safe and sanitized than the source comics, all boiling down to one big chase movie.”
