The Silent Hill 2 Remake Director’s Office Safe is a puzzle that needs the books in the room opposite to solve the code combination, as well as finding a spare button for the safe so he can actually input the answer.
Don’t worry though - I’ll explain how to open the safe in the Director’s Office in Silent Hill 2 below, as well what to do with the books that have symbols on their spines in the room opposite.
How to open the Hospital Safe in the Director’s Office in Silent Hill 2

The Silent Hill 2 Hospital safe can’t be opened until you solve everything relating to thehand in the Director’s Office in Silent Hill 2. That’sa process that will take a while and our guide will lay out all the essential steps to completing that. The short version is you need to findthree braceletsaround Brookhaven Hospital and arrange them correctly on the hand.
Assuming you’ve completed the hand puzzle then you need to do the following to open the Hospital safe:

The books in the director’s office have to be arrangedso that the picture of the fire-breathing lion is in the right order,as shown above. Once in place, that’ll give you the correct order for which symbols are which numbers.

Get that right and the safe should open and give you therooftop key,which will then allow you to reach the roof area via the staircase on 3F.
Before you go up there though, I definitely recommend you make sure you’ve got theSilent Hill 2 Remake shotgunif you haven’t already. It might be your last chance to get it and it’s one of the bestweapons in Silent Hill 2so you don’t want to miss it.
