Prime Day PS5 deals are surprisingly still ongoing, despite the event’s official end time on Wednesday. What to expect from Prime Day PS5 deals in 2024?

Prime Day PS5 deals can be a great opportunity to claim a new console, some recent games, or some accessories for much cheaper than usual. With Black Friday coming up, alongside the launch of thePS5 Proand potentially another batch of Prime Day deals, you’ve chosen a good time to shop around.
In terms of games, we often see the most recent big releases dip below the $30 mark. In July’s sale, we saw some discounts on games like Stellar Blade, Tekken 8, and Helldivers 2, but more probably, we’ll see games from the late stages of 2023 dip in price. The Spider-Man 2 bundle is still going strong at most retailers, but it remains to be seen how this will last through October, or whether new bundles will emerge. If you’re only interested in buying some physical games, Amazon will normally be good for them, but keep an eye out for Walmart too.

Accessory deals are a guarantee and might be the best thing to invest in for both sides of the PS5 Pro-consumer debate. If you’re disgruntled at a $700 price tag, some accessories will beef up your existing console. If you’re already sure you’re going to pre-order the Pro model, an October Prime Day could be a chance to grab some more goodies to pair with it for less than full price.
Since thebest SSDs for PS5have been up in price this year so far, we’re hoping for big things from October and November. If we can grab 1TB drives for around $60 again, we’ll be happy. Thebest PS5 controllershave gone a bit quiet this year, so with the best gamepads for the platform beginning to age, let’s hope we see some nice discounts. Let’s all pray to Shuhei that we get a major DualSense Edge discount or a repeat of the PSVR 2 Days of Play deal we saw earlier in the year.
