Prime Day monitor deals are technically done and dusted, but most of my gaming finds this week are still down in price. Better still, you don’t even need an Amazon subscription to access a majority of the screen savings out there, and record lows are still freely available. Simply put, if you slept on Big Deal Days, you’ve nothing to worry about for now, as the bargain bin is still stacked.
If you are looking for big savings on thebest gaming monitormodels, you’ll want to think about grabbing one soon.Prime Day gaming dealsmight still be hanging on, but it’s safe to say prices will revert pretty soon. Whether you’re holding out for a premium OLED panel or a more affordable UHD display with plenty of features, there’s still time to avoid paying top dollar for your dream display.
All of my picks below are based on my own experience with each gaming monitor, their specs, and value in relation to their current price tag. I’ve also included some tips and insight that should help make sure you grab a bargain. Prime Day 2024 and its sequel are both officially over, but I’ll be keeping tabs on offers here for a bit longer to give you a little more time.

When will Prime Day deals end?
Amazon’s “Big Deal Days” event end on Midnight October 9, with the sale serving as a second chance to grab Prime Day discounts in 2024. While the name is different, the sale follows the same format as the July event, and any available offers will normally return to full price after those dates.
Do you need a Prime membership for Prime Day monitor deals?
Yes, Prime Day monitor deals are only available to Prime subscribers, but there’s a way to gain access for free. If you’ve new to the service, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial, and you’ll be able to cancel before any monthly costs kick in. What monitor brand is most reliable?
Some of our favorite brands include Acer, Asus, Alienware, Dell, Samsung, and LG, and you’ve likely heard of many longstanding companies. That said, there are some options out there without a recognisable brand that provide a good experience, and Prime Day often features deals on these models. For the most part, we’d advise sticking to products we’ve tested, as that way you can rest assured they are good quality.
What monitors are the cheapest during Prime Day?
For the most part, the cheapest monitors during Prime Day will be older 1080p models that already feature a low price tag. In the past we’ve witnessed screens that cost around $120 drop below $100, while more expensive screens receive a larger discount proportionate to their price tag.
What to expect from Prime Day Monitor deals 2024

Screens of all shapes, sizes, and specs will drop in price during Prime Day, and we’ve witnessed some spectacular savings in previous years. From whopping ultrawide panels like theSamsungOdyssey Neo G9 (down from $2,299.99 to $1,308.63) to the super cheapASUSVP228QG, there’s usually something to fit most budgets.
More often than not, you’ll find slightly older gaming monitors at record low prices during Prime Day. No, you won’t have to settle for something ancient, but models with a 2023 or even 2022 badge will be itching to drop even lower during the sale. That said, it’s not always easy to find stock of these screens, so some of you might end up browsing newer screens anyway.
Samsung just launched itsbrand new 2024 range of OLED monitors, including new Odyssey G6 and G8 models that boast fast refresh rates and anti-glare superpowers. There’s no guarantee either will end up cheaper come prime day, but they could influence deals on existing on the likes of the Samsung Odyssey Neo G7, which dropped to under $1,000 last year thanks to a $450 price cut. We should at least see that discount re-emerge, but there’s every chance a new record low will roll into town.

Dell also likes to join in on the Prime Day fun, with monitors to be found both at Amazon and direct. Naturally, we’ll be keeping an eye on our current favorite screen, theAlienware 34 AW3423DW, but there are a few models that could show up to the fold. Ideally, it’ll drop under $800, but anything under a grand would still be a decent saving.
One thing that is worthwhile is considering lesser-known brands. Don’t get us wrong, we’d advise against jumping at deals that are too good to be true, but there are displays out there that cost far less despite featuring fantastic specs. A great example is theKTC G27P6, a screen that uses the sameLGOLED panel as theCorsair Xeneon 27QHD240and is known to drop under $600 even outside of Prime Day. We’ll be keeping a close eye on this great value display, as it could be one of the best deals this year.
As for newcomers that may receive a tasty discount, I’ll be keeping an eye on theLG Ultragear 32GS95UE-BandSamsung Odyssey OLED G6. The latter 4K screen will hopefully make its away below $1,000 at some point during the same season, and I’ll be holding out for Samsung’s QHD screen reaching under $600.
We’ve highlighted a number of last year’s best Prime Day monitor deals below. We’ll likely see something similar on the newer models too. It’s also worth noting that anything older will probably be best when it comes to value for money. This is because of the general fall in price in addition to the Prime Day sales. So anything from 2022 or 2023 is probably a good shout.

If you’re looking to free yourself from the tyranny of desktop cables, Prime Day portable monitor deals might be on your mind. Luckily, there are options out there that’ll help you cut the cord, and we suspect a few more might show up for the big event. That’s a huge win for any of you planning to usher in the holiday season using thebest gaming handheld, as lightweight screens can make for a killer on-the-go gaming setup for parties, camping, and other outdoor activities.
It’s also worth keeping an eye out for theJsaux FlipGo, a dual portable monitor that works great with laptops and PC. The mobile screen hasn’t hit Amazon as of yet, but when it does, it’s a strong contender for a Prime Day discount. If you want to stick to as near $100 as possible, the Verbatim Portable Touchscreen Monitor is also a solid option, as we’re hoping it’ll dip from $219.99 to just under $130. Just keep in mind that not every option will boast qualities like a built-in battery, so make sure to carefully consider your setup needs before clicking buy.
