Black Friday Nintendo Switch deals may have officially ended, but there are plenty of discounts still available on the shelves. From the year’s best console bundles to record-low prices on games new and old, 2024’s offers have been particularly impressive - and many are still live today.

While some of the more popular discounts have been run off the shelves, including a number of the new releases I was seeing at Woot, Walmart’s Switch and Switch OLED bundles are still standing proud and games like Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Sonic X Shadows Generations have all survived the night.

TheHori Split Pad Progenerally only ever hits $42.99 during even larger sales events like Black Friday - and that’s the price I’m seeing at most retailers right now… most. Walmart has dropped below the $40 barrier in the lead up to the main event, offering the Joy-Con alternative for just $38.99.

I have the Split Pad Pro attached to my console whenever I’m playing in handheld mode - it’s thebest Nintendo Switch controllerfrom a comfort perspective. I find regular Joy-Con just a little too small and thin to be truly comfortable for longer periods and the chunkier form factor and softer curves of Hori’s model feels far more secure. Not only that, but I’ve noticed that the thumbsticks feel a lot better under the hand as well - plus you’re getting those back buttons and turbo functions included.
