If you’re finding the Star Wars Outlaws black bars jarring, there’s a fix. As the default option in the cinematic 21:9 aspect ratio, often referred to as ultrawide, you’re given a much bigger field of view, and it makesStar Wars Outlawsfeel a lot more like a film as you witness the action unfold.
How to get rid of the black bars in Star Wars Outlaws

To remove the black bars in Star Wars Outlaws go to Settings, choose Display and graphics, and then Cinematic display mode. From here switch the option from 21:9 to Fill screen which will change the aspect ratio.
This will alter the scale of the UI and menus to fit on the screen, while Kay will now take up more of the display and you won’t be able to see as far to the sides as you could before. This change may take a little getting used to, as at first everything will feel bigger or more zoomed in than it was before, but if you stick with it then it won’t take long for it to feel normal again and you can enjoy using the full size of your display.
