The Indiana Jones torch puzzle sees you trying to get a flaming torch past some water during The Stolen Cat Mummy mission in the Great Circle. It’s a simple physics puzzle that will challenge you to get some fire into a room without the water putting it out. Solve that as a problem and you can then burn away a door inside to get at a collectible. Past the watery gap you’ll find a door that Indy says would be easy to burn down, so getting some sort of fire inside is crucial. You’ll probably work out pretty quickly that throwing anything through the gap doesn’t work, and will likely lose you the torch, so what to do?There are two options here.The first is solve the puzzle as intended when you reach it, which I’ll cover below. The second is to ignore it for now and play on to Gizeh where you’ll have to buy a lighter to continue a mission and can then return with it to skip the whole puzzle completely.Assuming you haven’t got the lighter then the answer is to ignore the water gap completely while you have the torch and find the hole I’ve marked on the map above inIndiana Jones and the Great Circle. To find the hole, face the water and look left to see the passage out of the chamber and follow it.
