Gathering Manor Lords fuel lets you continue producing goods, but it’s also necessary to help your townspeople survive frigid winters. That means your woodcutters have their work cut out for them a lot of the time, needing to gather a healthy supply of firewood, which can later be converted into charcoal, for immediate use to keep your settlement running and to be stockpiled for when the temperature drops.
