How to farm Ore in Palworld

Ore is dropped when you mine regular boulders, but not very quickly. It’s far better tofind the shiny boulders with a gold/yellow tint to them and mine those, as theyonlydrop Orewhen hit with a pickaxe (or any other attack, but pickaxes are fastest). These are found all over the map, including in Dungeons, but here’s the important point: given time,Ore boulders respawn, meaning that if you find one, you can keep coming back to it and farming it for Ore over and over.

The best place to farm Ore, in that case, is actually the same as our preferred spot for the bestPalworld base locations(marked on the attached guide and in the image above), a plateau near the start of the game where there are numerous Ore boulders for the player to mine next to each other. Setting up a base there is ideal, as Pals will just start automatically working through the various rocks when they have nothing else to do, even putting them into storage chests. With a few mining Pals at work, you can get dozens of ore every minute, and the rocks respawn fast enough that there’ll be a constant trickle of ore to work from.
