The first trailer forDeadpool 3is here, and it’s just as wild as we’d hoped. It’s also… not called Deadpool 3.
The threequel marksWade Wilson’s official entry into the MCU, and could be a major entry point for the X-Men, too – though the trailer doesn’t give much away. There is, however, a tiny nod to Secret Wars… the title of the sixth Avengers movie that is set to hit theaters in 2027. When Deadpool is lying on the ground shortly before Wolverine takes a swipe, a faded sticker with a Secret Wars comic book cover is stuck to the concrete. Okay, MCU, we see what you did there.
Alongside Jackman and Reynolds, other confirmed cast members include Morena Baccarin back as Vanessa, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, andJennifer Garner, who is reprising her role as Elektra.
Production has now wrapped on the movie, whichReynolds marked with a crotch shot of his superhero. “The suit hides the blood. Also, sweat… But today, with Deadpool wrapping, it’s mostly tears,” Reynolds wrote on Twitter in January 2024.
