The much-anticipated first Astro Bot DLC landed in October 2024, bringing new speedrun levels and online leaderboards to this stellar PlayStation platformer. Oh, and did we mention it’s completely free? There’s VIP bots to rescue, too, meaning you can add even more treasures to yourAstro Bot collectibles.
Firstly, you’ll need to make sure you’ve travelled theAstro Botuniverse, collected all the relevant parts to rebuild the Mothership, and completed the storyline. Then, you’ll be able to access the fresh levels available in the DLC. Here’s everything you need to know about what’s included in the first ever Astro Bot DLC, as well as what the studio have planned next.

The first Astro Bot DLC launched for free on October 17, and added a newStellar Speedwayregion to the universe map – note that you need to have completed the main game in order to access this area. Inside you’ll find speedrun levels, where you can compete against friends and the wider player base for the best course times via online leaderboards. Five speedrun levels were over a weekly release schedule, which looked like this:
